Building Bridges for a Brighter Future

The recent European tour by Gadisa Birhanu, founder of Testimony 2540, was a remarkable journey that highlighted the global support for our mission to help street children in Addis Ababa. Gadisa’s meetings and partnerships forged during this trip are set to propel our organization to new heights.

Athletes Joining the Mission

Gadisa’s tour was marked by the formation of significant partnerships with elite athletes, including French and European champions Clément Leduc, Yosef Goasdoue, and Dimitri Pasquereau. Thanks to the efforts of Mr. Yosef, the founder of Daytour Sport, these athletes have committed to supporting our cause. Their involvement not only brings visibility to our mission but also inspires the children we serve to dream big.

Volunteer Engagement

Gadisa’s tour included important information sessions in Italy and the Netherlands, engaging with potential volunteers and their families. These meetings provided an opportunity to share the heart of our mission and the impact of our work. We are excited to welcome new volunteers in August and December, whose contributions will be invaluable to our programs.

Strategic Meetings

A key aspect of the tour was Gadisa’s meetings with influential leaders. Discussions with Ambassador Samuel Ducroquet and Mr. Christophe Chinette have paved the way for new collaborations. Gadisa also met with the mayor of Tours, Mr. Emmanuel Denis, and the National Deputy for Tours, Mr. Charles, to explore further support for our initiatives.

These strategic meetings are crucial for expanding our reach and securing resources for our programs.

Info Evening Meeting in Groningen, Netherlands

In December, we are thrilled to host an informative evening meeting in Groningen, Netherlands, with potential volunteers and their families who are planning to join us at Testimony 2540. This gathering will provide an opportunity for volunteers to learn more about our mission, understand the impact of their contributions, and prepare for their meaningful journey to Addis Ababa.

The evening will be filled with detailed presentations, heartfelt stories from previous volunteers, and an open Q&A session where attendees can get all their queries addressed. We are excited to welcome new faces and grateful for their willingness to support our cause. This meeting marks another significant step in expanding our volunteer base and enhancing our programs.

Looking Ahead

The success of Gadisa’s European tour is a promising indication of the future of Testimony 2540. The relationships built and the commitments made during this journey will enhance our ability to provide education, healthcare, and emotional support to the street children of Addis Ababa. Our goal is to extend our services beyond the city, reaching more children across Ethiopia and East Africa.

We are deeply thankful for the support and generosity of everyone Gadisa met during his tour. Together, we are building a network of champions dedicated to transforming the lives of the most vulnerable children. Stay connected with us as we continue this journey of hope and transformation.

Thank you for being a part of our mission. Together, we can turn trials into testimonies.
